You Get to Try
Hey readers, I'm having a hard time coming up with more fun stuff to do when your bored. In fact, I'm bored right now, and decided to check up on my blog. So, I'm asking all of you to comment, send me links, and e-mail me all kinds of fun things that you like to do when your bored. This time, it's in your hands. I'm expecting some really amazing stuff from you guys, especially those in other countries, like Germany, Russia, and Chile. I want to know what YOU do for fun. I will compile all of the ideas I get into one big post, so you get to see what everyone else said, and you'll get to see your ideas on my blog. Include your name, and I'll put it next to your idea(s), so you'll get the credit and everyone will see how awesome the stuff is that you do in your free time. So get going! And remember, have fun with it! I'm going to love reading all your amazing ideas!

Valentine's Day
At my school, we have a special gifted program. It consists of an extra class that the gifted students take instead of Reading. To get into the program, you must take an IQ test and be higher than 126, I believe. I am in this program. So, in this class, we do special lessons, such as Holocaust and CSI, that enhance our knowlege of the world around us. We also get to do really fun stuff, though. Last week, someone in my class suggested a Valentine's Day party. Our school doesn't celebrate Valentine's Day. So, we planned to make boxes, get cards, and bring food. It was so much fun. We got to be kids again. When I went to the store to pick up my Valentine's, two little girls and their dad were in that aisle, trying to pick theirs. I stood back and watched for about 10 minutes, and seeing the girls' deliberation process was so fun. They were adorable! Finally, I went up and picked a box that said," It's Hamster Time!" and had cute hamsters crawling all over it. The box said Ages 3+. I'm 13. But it was adorable, and the hamsters on the box reminded me of the family of groundhogs that live under the trailer outside our school that we can see from the Gifted classroom. Naturally, we gave the main groundhog a name. His name is Chubbs. Later I found out that my Valentine's came with little hamster-shaped erasers, which I immediately named Chubbs Jr. Everyone loved them, three boys especially, who decided to have a little fun with the erasers. Well, they took them apart, stabbed them with pens, and gave them complete makeovers. I was laugh-crying. It was so funny and torturous at the same time. That teaches me (and hopefully you) to never give teenage boys animal shaped erasers ever again. That was my Valentine's Party. BTW, we had it on the 10th, because my teacher wasn't going to be there on the 14th. So, Happy Valentine's Day everybody!
